U.S. stocks ended Friday’s choppy session modestly lower, after Federal Reserve Chairwoman Janet Yellen said she still expected the central bank to raise interest rates sometime this year.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.29% or 53.72 points to 18,232.02. The S&P 500 declined 0.22% or 4.76 points to 2,126.06.

Meanwhile, the Nasdaq COMP was 0.03% or 1.43 points lower at 5,089.36.

On the weekly level, the Dow Jones lost 0.2%, while the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq COMP gained 0.2% and 0.8%, respectively.
