Oil prices dropped on Friday, as traders took profit of the previous day's gains.

Brent crude declined by 1.8% or $1.17 to $65.37 per barrel, and the U.S. crude contracts fell 1.7% to $59.72 per barrel.

On the weekly level, the Brent crude decreased by 2.1%, and the U.S. crude rose 3 cents, maintaining its gains for the 10th straight week.

The dollar jumped to its highest level in nearly one month, as Federal Reserve Chairwoman Janet Yellen said she still expected the central bank to raise interest rates sometime this year.
