The benchmark index of Muscat Securities Market (MSM) rose on Monday, as MSM30 index gained 0.04% or 2.42 points to settle at 6377 points.

Sharia index inched up 0.04% to 985.32 points.

MSM’s industrial sector led the losers with a 0.36% drop, while the services sector topped the gainers, adding 0.11%.

Today’s turnover stood at OMR 4.2 million, as the trading volume reached 12.04 million shares on 534 transactions.

Market capitalization soared 38.76% to OMR 4.2 million.

Oman and Emirates recorded a turnover of OMR 198.03 million, after 1.829 million shares were traded, becoming the most active stock of the day.
