The benchmark index of Bahrain Bourse (BHB) rose on Tuesday after four successive sessions of decline, backed by banks sector which was topped by Ahli United Bank and National Bank of Bahrain.

The index edged up 0.22% or 3.05 points to close at 1,366.94 points.

Stocks of National Bank of Bahrain and Ahli United Bank inched up 1.32% and 0.7% respectively. Moreover, the services sector inched up 0.24%.

Today’s turnover totaled BHD 2.54 million, as the trading volume increased to 6.25 million shares.
