Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company achieved 65% growth in total earnings year-on-year, stading at BHD 181.1 million in the fiscal year 2014, compared to BHD 109.4 million in the prior year.

Mumtalakat’s net profits soared 11% year-on-year.

Operating revenues surged 60% to BHD 113.1 million in FY14 from BHD 70.7 million in FY13.

Regarding the company’s investment portfolio, Gulf Air achieved revenues of BHD 349.4 million in FY-2014, compared to BHD 307.2 million in 2013.

Aluminium Bahrain (Alba) recorded revenues worth BHD 821.7 million in 2014 compared to BHD 749.3 million in 2013, an increase of 9.7%.

Bahrain Telecommunications’ (Batelco) net profits stood at BHD 17.7 million, a growth of 12%.

Finally, National Bank of Bahrain’s net profits increased 4% to BHD 24.3 million
