The benchmark index of Bahrain Bourse (BHB) inched up 0.04% or 0.62 points to 1,366.35 points on Thursday.

Industrial sector topped the gainers after adding 0.4%, boosted by blue-chip Aluminium Bahrain (Alba).

Banks sector gained 0.11%, backed by National Bank of Bahrain which rose 1.3%.

Meanwhile, services sector retreated 0.31%, negatively affected by Bahrain Telecommunications Company (Batelco) which fell 0.6% to BHD 0.334.

Today’s turnover reported about BHD 327,440, as the trading volume increased to 1.56 million shares.
