Bahrain Bourse All Share Index gained 0.36% or 4.86 points to settle at 1,367.06 points on Thursday, backed by the banking sector.

Today’s trading value increased to about BHD 385,110 from nearly BHD 371,520, while trading volume fell to 2.345 million shares from 4.463 million shares.

The commercial banks sector added 0.67% to become the top gainer, spurred by a 4.67% rise of the National Bank of Bahrain.

Industrial sector was the second gainer with a0.39% increase, helped by Alba which inched up 0.4%.The services sector added 0.29% to come in third, as Batelco levelled up 0.59%.

Meanwhile, BHB’s investment sector declined 0.10%, weighed down by the 9.52% plunge in Inovest.
