Acwa Power Barka said that the board of directors approved the unaudited financials for the period from 1 January until 30 April.

The company which is listed on Muscat Securities Market (MSM) reported OMR 14.096 million revenues as compared to OMR 11.719 million in the same period of 2014.

Net profit stood at OMR 2.466 million as compared to OMR 2.833 million in 2014.

Acwa’s board permitted a distribution of 12% cash dividends amounting to OMR 1.920 million, based on the retained earnings as per audited financial statements on 31 December 2014.

Distribution of dividends was set to be 25 June, 2015, according to the company’s filing to MSM.
