Cairo-Mubasher: The European shares closed Friday higher, as investors are anticipating Greece debt talks.

The pan-European FTSEurofirst 300 index edged up 0.1% to 1574.08 points, with a weekly gain of 2%.

The Stoxx Europe 600 ended up a modest 0.3%, while Greece’s Athex Composite jumped 2%.

The U.K.’s FTSE 100 gained 0.8%, France's CAC rose 0.4% and Germany's DAX 30 was up 0.2%.
