Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s government will invest around EGP 37.8 billion in infrastructure during the fiscal year 2015/2016, announced the planning ministry.
The state treasury will contribute EGP 25.5 billion, or 50.4% of total investments, which represents an increase by 19.5% compared to the fiscal year 2014/2015.
The government has also allocated EGP 11.908 billion for investments in roads and transports during 2015/2016. It will invest EGP 20.9 billion in housing and urban development programs.
