Riyadh-Mubasher: Saudi Arabia is the biggest exporter of oil to Japan, as its crude oil exports increased by 6% year-on-year to 1.16 million barrels per day, said the Agency for Natural Resources and Energy.

The UAE followed with 864,000 barrels a day, rising 15% year-on-year. Kuwait's crude oil exports to Japan amounted to around 10.89 million barrels in May, or 351,000 barrels a day.

Japan managed to secure its needs of Arab oil, as its imports amounted to 72.15 million barrels, or 79.2% of total imports in May, the agency said.
