Cairo – Mubasher: Mohandes Insurance said Sunday it is studying an increase in issued and paid-in capital by EGP 25 million to EGP 100 million.

The capital increase will be carried out via issuance of bonus shares, which will be financed from this year’s earnings, the company added.

The Cairo-listed insurance firm earlier posted EGP 27.6 million ($3.6 million) in net profit for the ten-month ended 31 March, with 59.4% growth year-on-year from EGP 17.3 million ($2.3 million) in the same period a year earlier.
