Kuwait-Mubasher: Qatar is the wealthiest country in the world, with per capita of gross domestic product (GDP) exceeding $105,000 annually, Global Finance said in a report.
Luxembourg ranked second with approx. $80,000, followed by Singapore with $61,600 a year.
The UAE took the eighth position with GDP per capital of nearly $49,000, while Kuwait came 19th globally with around $39,900 a year.
Saudi Arabia took the 28th rank with $32,500, Oman 33rd ($30,000) and Bahrain 34th ($29,800).
Despite the political instability in Libya, it topped several counties like Iran, Brazil, South Africa and Thailand with GDP per capita of about $14,500 a year.
Tunisia ranked 89th with $10,200, Algeria came 102nd with $7,700 and Iraq took the 104th position with $7,600.
