Riyadh-Mubasher: Tadawul All-Share Index (TASI) closed Tuesday with a modest gain of 0.12% or 10.82 points to 9,090 points.
Turnover exceeded SAR 3 billion, after 113 million shares were traded through over 70,000 trades.
The hotel and energy sectors topped the five advancers, rising 0.83% and 0.81, respectively.
Meanwhile, the transport led the 10 decliners, dropping 1.67%. The retail had the second-worst showing, with a loss of 0.8%.
As for equities, 77 stocks headed south, led by Bawan which dived 4.60% to SAR 44.60.
On the other hand, 62 stocks headed north, topped by Salama which was up 5.08% to SAR 17.
SABIC, which drifted 0.98% higher to SAR 95.75, was the most active in turnover with SAR 556 million.
Alinma Bank, which dropped 0.72% to SAR 22.20, led in trading volume with 19.7 million shares.
