Kuwaiti oil prices dropped 97 cents to settle at $49.90 per barrel on Tuesday as compared to $50.87 on Monday, according to Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC).

Brent crude retreated 0.32% or $17 to reach $53.30 a barrel.

US crude oil prices increased 1.24% or $47.98 to settle at $47.98 per barrel.
