Riyadh-Mubasher: Arabian Shield Cooperative Insurance posted SAR 2.6 million in net earnings before zakah during the second quarter of 2015, with a rise of 24% over SAR 2.1 million in the same period of 2014.

Net profits before zakah for the six-month period ended 30 June reached SAR 7.1 million, compared with SAR 4.1 million a year earlier, a rise of 71%.

The insurer attributed the profit growth to a 26% increase in net earned premiums and 76% jump in net earned commission income.
