Cairo – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia’s investments in Egypt’s Suez Canal development project is expected to reach more than EGP 300 billion, said Mohab Mamish, Chairman of Suez Canal Authority.
The top officials hailed the role played by the Kingdom in boosting investment in Egypt. He also said Egyptians succeeded in executing the New Suez Canal project in one year.
Investment in the two projects of digging the canal and developing the Suez Canal Axis should be concurrent, Mamish said.
He told Okaz newspaper that six tunnels would be built below the canal.
