Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) said it sold $37.7 million to banks in a foreign currency auction Sunday, at a cut-off price of 7.73 per dollar
The bank has allowed the dollar to rise by EGP 0.20 each to EGP 7.73 during last July.
The CBE said on its website that the value of auction No. 394 reached $40 million.
