Mubasher: Bahrain Bourse’s benchmark ended a five-day losing streak, supported by Batelco and National Bank of Bahrain.
The index rose as much as 0.24% or 3.18 points to reach the 1,332 level.
The services sector was the top gainer with a rise of 1.04%, as Batelco and Seef Properties advanced 1.79% and 2%, respectively.
The banking sector was also 0.29% higher, enhanced by National Bank of Bahrain which climbed 1.38%.
On the bearish side, the industrial and investment sectors headed south, falling 0.39% and 0.04%, respectively, pressured by Alba.
Turnover reached BHD 109,860 ($291,360), after 567,340 shares were exchanged in 36 trades.
The market capitalisation declined to nearly BHD 7.857 billion ($20.84 billion), compared with BHD 7.839 billion ($20.79 billion) on Monday.
