Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Sudan Telecommunications Group (STG or Sudatel) reported a net profit of $22.5 million in the first six months of the year, a decline of 16.5% from $27 million in the same period last year, according to a statement on Sunday.

Profits for Q2 stood at $15.2 million, compared to $20.7 million in Q2-14, the company which is listed in Abu Dhabi and Sudan has said, adding that its earnings per share (EPS) retreated to $0.0191 from $0.0229 in H1-14.

Operating revenues fell to $215.2 million in H1 this year from $230.5 million in the same period the year before.

STG’s current capital amounts to $1.081 billion, divided on 1.081 billion shares at par value of $1 per share.
