Egypt's GDRs rise on London bourse

Cairo-Mubasher: Global depository receipts owned by Egyptian companies surged collectively on Thursday on London Stock Exchange (LSE).

Commercial International Bank’s GDRs advanced 2.11% to EGP 48.9 with total traded value of EGP 30 million.

GDRs owned by Global Telecom Holding slid 4.07% to $1.3, from $1.35 on Tuesday. The company’s stock remained unchanged at EGP 2.02.

Similarly, Orascom Telecom Media went up 0.87% to $0.63, with total traded value of EGP 26 million.

GDRs owned by Global Telecom Holding added 2.5% to $1.33.They hit intraday high and low at $1.53 and $1.28 respectively.

Edita Food Industries’ GDRs rose 0.74% to $17.12.
