Riyadh-Mubasher: Tadawul All-Share Index (TASI) jumped 2.98% or 219.86 points to reach the 7,604 level.

Turnover reached more than SAR 7.9 billion, after over 362 million shares changed hands in 146,000 transactions.

The energy was the only sector which closed in the red, falling 1%. Meanwhile, the petrochemical industry sector led the way in gains, soaring 5.25%. The multi-investment had the second-best showing, with a rise of 4.42%.

Rounding up stocks, gainers outperformed losers 146 to 16. Aseer was the best performer of the day, rocketing 9.87% to SAR 22.05. Meanwhile, SABB Takaful was the worst performer, tumbling 8.9% to SAR 34.
