Dubai – Mubasher: Personal spending in the US rose in July along with incomes, although rises in purchases was slightly less than expected, according to FXStreet website.
Personal income in July rose 0.4% as expected, while personal spending rose 0.3% in July from June’s 0.2%, but missed the expectation of a 0.4% rise.
The upbeat data comes after the upward revision of the US Q2 GDP on Thursday and a better-than-expected US durable goods report released on Wednesday.
