Cairo-Mubasher: Net foreign direct investments in Egypt reached nearly $5.7 billion during the first nine months of 2014/2015, said Minister of Investment Ashraf Salman.  

He added that the unemployment rate dropped from 13.6% to 12.6% in 2014/2015.

During his meeting with Egypt's newly-appointed ambassadors, Salman said the reform procedures taken by the government, including the financials reforms, reflected positively on the local economic indicators, as the growth rate increased from 2.2% to 4.2% in 2014/2015.
