Cairo-Mubasher: A total of 5,731 companies were established in Egypt from January to June 2015, with EGP 10.3 billion in capital, compared with 4,562 firms during the same period a year ago, according to the monthly bulletin of the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAMPAS).

A total of 1,074 firms were founded in March, May (1,048), April (965), June (955), February (854) and January (835), the bulletin stated.

Nationals' investments in the companies reached EGP 8.8 billion, while those of Arabs and foreigners amounted to EGP 963.8 million and EGP 595.4 million, respectively.
