Riyadh-Mubasher: Tadawul All-Share Index (TASI) extended its rally for the second straight day, leaping 1.13% or 86.1 points to 7,690.40 pts.
Turnover declined 13.3% to SAR 6.9 billion, 14.1% lower than the weekly average of SAR 8.1 billion but 33.6% higher than the monthly average of SAR 5.2 billion.
Trading volume declined from 362.4 million shares to 286.5 million shares.
The transport sector topped the 12 advancers, climbing 3.25%. The real estate development had the second-best showing, rising 3.24%. Meanwhile, three sectors declined, led by the hotels which dropped 4.5%.
As for equities, 113 went up, spearheaded by SABB Takaful which rocketed 9.96% and Al-Alamiya which jumped 9.63%. Meanwhile, Thimar and Tihama were the biggest fallers, plunging 9.8% and 9.66%, respectively.
