Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt will hold an auction Monday to raise EGP 4.750 billion in treasury bonds.

The 5-year and 10-year bonds will be issued at EGP 3 billion and EGP 1.750 billion respectively.

The central bank issues treasury bonds and bills to partially plug the budget deficit that rose to EGP 261.8 billion, or 10.8% of gross domestic product during the 11-month period till May 2015.
