Cairo-Mubasher: Elsewedy Electric Co. half-year net profits jumped 249.8% to EGP 805 million, up from EGP 230 million for the comparable period in the previous year.

Meanwhile, the company's unconsolidated financial statements reflected net profits of EGP 157.95 million in H1-2015, down from EGP 331.1 million for the same period of 2014.

The firm is capitalised at EGP 2.2 billion, distributed across 223.4 million shares at EGP 10 par value each.
