Cairo-Mubasher: European stocks declined in Monday’s early trading, hurt by Spain bourse as parties in favour of Catalonia's independence have won an absolute majority in regional elections.  

At 9:00 GMT, Eurofirst 300 index lost 0.4%, while Spain’s benchmark slipped by nearly 0.8%.

Euro STOXX 50 also fell by 0.4%.
