Dubai-Mubasher: The eurozone has become more resilient and growth is picking up, European Central Bank's (ECB) President Mario Draghi said Thursday, the latest indication he thinks the central bank’s accommodative monetary policy is working.

He said the eurozone had returned to sustained growth, under the impulse of ECB's monetary policy.

The results were “good news for everybody, everywhere,” Draghi said.

Draghi’s comments came as the ECB is still easing monetary policy, while the U.S. Federal Reserve is drawing closer to raising interest rates for the first time in nearly a decade.
