Mubasher: Galfar Engineering and Contracting has been awarded a contract worth OMR 365,170 from Duqm Special Economic Zone Authority.

The two-year contract has an option for extension with the same rates for six months, according to a bourse filing.

Galfar will carry out, under the contract, the operation and maintenance of a 2,000 m3/day sewage treatment plant in Duqm, as the maintenance term contractor.

The company expected to generate reasonable income from this project.
