Cairo-Mubasher: European stocks opened Monday with a strong gain after a weak U.S. employment report dampened expectations that the U.S. Federal Reserve will start raising interest rates soon.
At 8:30 GMT, Eurofirst 300 index rose nearly 1.8%, while EURO STOXX 50 was up 1.6%.
The giant mining company Glencore soared around 9%.
London's FTSE100 added 1.5%, and German DAX climbed by the same percentage.
