Dubai-Mubasher: The Eurozone business activity weakened in September as new orders came in at a slower pace than first reported and fewer jobs were created, surveys showed on Monday.
Markit Composite Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI), which measures the economic conditions in the region, reached 52.6 in September, compared with 53.9 in August. The initial estimate stood at 53.9.
The euro accordingly rose against the dollar by 0.41% to 1.1258.
