Riyadh-Mubasher: The building sector has declined by 27% since the beginning of the third quarter of 2015 and until 30 September, underperforming the banking and petrochemical sectors which fell by 15% and 22% in a row, Riyad Capital said in a recent report.

It added the building sector’s decline was unjustified when compared to the other sectors.

The buoyant demand for residential units and strong gross domestic product (GDP) per capita will boost the positive outlook for demand in the long-term.

Saudi Ceramics’ earnings are expected to reach SAR 72 million during the third quarter of 2015, compared with SAR 79 million in the same period a year earlier, the research firm.

It added that Amiantit’s profits  are seen rising 19% year-on-year to SAR 21 million.
