Kuwait-Mubasher: The Kuwaiti bourse’s session on Wednesday saw sale pressure to accumulate blue chips, especially in the banks sector which acquired the biggest share today’s turnover, said financial counselor Adnan Al-Delimi.

The market witnessed strong speculative trades on small caps and popular shares, Al-Delimi said, adding that the speculations reversed the direction of the price index to head north.

Investors tend to preserve the rising level of the price index for the third successive session, amid a strong turnover exceeding KWD 15 million, noted the counselor.

Banks sector had over 41% of KSE’s liquidity which reached KWD 15.57 million at closing, backed by KFH, Boubyan Bank, NBK, and the spike of Ithmaar Bank’s trades.
