Mubasher: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) benchmark index rose 0.88% or 102.62 points on Wednesday to close at 11,788.71 points; thus extending its winning run to the fourth successive day.

Similarly, Sharia Index ended 0.93% higher at 4470.63 points, and All Share Index rose 0.78% to 3,133.76 points.

The industrials sector topped gainers, advancing by 1.41%, followed by real estate (+0.88%), then banks (+0.73%) and telecoms (+0.44%). Insurance tailed the list, inching higher by 0.37%.

Commodities and transport sectors went down by 0.11% and 0.05% respectively.

Tracking stock performance, Gulf International was the best performer, with a jump of 4.78%, while Ahli Bank was the biggest drag, falling 6.97%.

Vodafone Qatar was the volume leader, upon exchanging 1.76 million shares. Gulf International recorded the biggest turnover reaching QAR 80.25 million.
