Cairo - Mubahser: National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) - Egypt announced that it has signed an agreement with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), to obtain a loan of $50 million.

The loan proceeds will be directed towards financing small and medium projects, said a press statement.

NBK-Egypt is capitalised at EGP 1 billion, distributed across 100 million shares at EGP 10 par value each.
