Cairo - Mubasher: European Bank for Reconstruction and Development has provided Egypt with finance totaling Euro 1.1 billion for 28 projects since 2012, said Philip ter Woort EBRD's Egypt Director.

Meanwhile, National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) - Egypt has signed an agreement with (EBRD), to obtain a loan of $50 million.

The loan will be granted over two equal tranches of $25 million each, noted Woort on the sideline of a press conference.

The loan duration will be five years and its first tranche is expected to be available within one month, pointed out EBRD-Egypt chief.

The loan's proceeds will be directed towards financing small and medium projects, said a press statement
