Dubai – Mubasher: The UAE’s Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) announced the launch of five new innovative initiatives within the framework of enhancing the sector’s performance at the regulative, supervisory and legislative levels.

Speaking before a conference held in Dubai, Mohamed Al Hadari, deputy CEO for innovation at SCA, said the first initiative includes the establishment of a self-assessment electronic system and measurement of commitment and risks levels for licensed companies.

Meanwhile, the second initiative is represented in the launch of a unified electronic licensing gate. The third initiative include the rolling out of remove investigation, while the fourth one includes development of an incentive program for local funds and the fifth initiative entails the launch of e-voting system for shareholders.
