Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt said it will auction EGP 8 billion in treasury bills today.

182- and 364-day T-bills will be offered at EGP 3.5 billion and EGP 4.5 billion respectively.

The central bank sell debt instruments regularly to plug the budget deficit that reached EGP 68.3 billion or 2.4% of GDP in the period July-August of the fiscal year 2015/2016.
