Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange’s (ADX) main index continued falling in mid-trading on Thursday, as it dropped by 0.47% or 19.92 points to 4,210.80 points.
Trading volume hit 42 million shares worth AED 258.554 million reached through 862 trades.
The real estate sector headed the losers with a fall of 1.70%, followed by the banking and telecom sectors with 0.45% and 0.32% respectively, while the energy sector rose by 0.89%.
Analysts suggested that the UAE stock markets are still facing a trend of volatility and caution that controls traders and weakens liquidity.
The main index opened today in green with a 0.7% decrease to 4,201.2 points, after losing 29.5 points.
