Cairo - Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indices shifted to green zone in Thursday's midday trade, as the benchmark index advanced 0.69% to 6,435.14 points.

The small and mid-cap index EGX70 inched up 0.61% to 351.96 points; while the broader index EGX100 gained 0.22% to 746.8 points.

Similarly, the equal-weighted index EGX50 rose 0.61% to 1,104.02 points.

The midday session saw 150.5 million shares change hands, worth EGP 173.82 million, through 7,300 transactions.

Local and Arab investors came as net buyers with EGP 5.104 million and EGP 5.1 million respectively, while foreign investors came as net sellers with EGP 10.2 million.
