Mubasher: Foreign investments in the GCC region reach $416 billion, $53 billion of which are dominated by the industrial sector, said Youssef Mishaal, chairman of Mishaal Group.

He added that maximizing foreign capital will help the gulf industries reach acceptable competitive levels.

The 15th Industrialists' Conference, held recently in Kuwait, aimed to develop a unified strategy to create an investment environment in the GCC countries.

Mishaal called for mapping out an ambitious strategy to develop the industrial sector and enhance the competitiveness of this sector in the GCC.
