QSE continues rallying, gains 31.25 points

Doha – Mubasher: The Qatari bourse continued closing in green for the second consecutive session, as it ended Sunday’s trading at 10,553.46 points with a rise of 0.30% or about 31.25 points.

QE Al Rayan Islamic Index also fell by 0.27% to 3,949.16 points, while the All Shares Index rose to 2,815.55 points with 0.25% up,

Trading volume reached around 2.652 million shares through 2,175 trades, making a liquidity of around QAR 109.93 million.

“Support levels ranged today between 10,500 and 10,550 points, while the resistances were 10,600, 10,650 and 10,800 points,” Ayoub Eshban, financial analyst and economic advisor, told Mubasher.

Five sectors appeared in red, led by the transportation with 0.40% down, while the green list saw two sectors headed by the banking with 1.06% up.

Twelve shares, out of 42, ended trading higher, 24 others were down, and the six left were flat.

Qatar National Bank share was the best performer with growth of 3.70%, while Zad Holding was the worst with a drop of 3.45%.

Qatar Gas Transport made the highest trading volume with 612,300 shares traded, and the biggest liquidity with more than QAR 14.5 million.

The Qatar Stock Exchange’s (QSE) main index closed Thursday with a rise of 0.10% or about 10.71 points to 10,522.21 points.
