Cairo - Mubasher: Qalaa Holdings said that Gozour, a subsidiary, sold assets worth $4.25 million (EGP 33.27 million) in Sudan, according to a bourse filing.

Qalaa said the divestiture will slash Gozour’s debts by around EGP 20 million.

Gozour also sealed an agreement with a local investor to sell Elmisrieen Co., a popular manufacturer of cheese products in the Egyptian market, for EGP 50 million.  

Qalaa Holdings owns a 55% indirect stake in Elmisrieen.
