Cairo - Mubasher: Egypt welcomed 909,400 tourists, from all over the world, during October 2015 compared to 100,300 tourists during October 2014, a decrease of 9.3%.

Eastern Europe recorded the first area for sending tourists during October 2015 of 39.7% ،  Russia has the largest share in sending tourists by 71.0% from the total number of arriving tourists from Eastern Europe, followed by Western Europe by 35.5 %, Germany has the largest share in sending tourists by 34.6 % from the total number of arriving  tourists from Western Europe.

The Middle East came in third place with 13.0% where Saudi Arabia has the largest share in sending tourists of 27.0% from the total number of arriving tourists in the Middle East.

The Percentage of arriving tourists from the rest of the world (Africa, Asia, America, and Other Countries) reached 11.8%.

Meanwhile, the number of departing tourists reached 853.4 thousand tourists during October 2015 compared to 940,900 tourists during October 2014, a decrease of 9.3%.
