Kuwait-Mubasher: Boubyan Bank announced plans for issuing sukuk worth $250 million for boosting its capital base in line with the requirements of Basel III agreements.

The bank said in a bourse statement that it was granted an initial approval from Kuwait’s central bank to proceed with the sukuk issuance.
