Mubasher: Japan stocks closed Friday in the green, recording the biggest daily gain in four and a half months.

Nikkei climbed 5.88% to 16958.53 points, while the broader TOPIX jumped 5.6% to 1374.19.

In addition, JPX Nikkei Index 400 also moved 5.6% higher to 12391.02.
