Mubasher: Oman&Emirates Investment Holding (OEIO) trimmed its losses during the fourth quarter of FY15 by 52.4%. 

Q4-15 net loss amounted to OMR1.62 million ($4.21 million), compared to a net loss of OMR 3.4 million ($8.84 million) for the year-ago same quarter.

The company turned to loss with OMR 2.7 million in 2015, versus profits of  OMR 504,000.

The steep decline in oil prices during 2015 contributed to low prices of investments in the group’s markets of operation, weakening the company’s yearly earnings overall.
