Cairo - Mubasher: Orascom Development Holding (ODH) said Muriya, a joint venture with Omran -  the tourism development arm of the Omani government - has launched the grand opening of Fanar Hotel at Salalah Beach in Oman.

Muriya has successfully completed the 700-room phase one of the Fanar Hotel that will make it the largest contributor to the development of high-end hotels in Oman in the last five years.

Samih Sawiris, Chairman of ODH and Muriya pointed out the project’s investments amounted to more than $500 million.
